After my break for having a long day of trying to figure out what was going on with my site, Finally I come out with a study and solution. I’m not sure if it was really been noted in one of the Plugin that if they activated it both at the same time, it will cause a havoc on your site and make your site offline on the web.
Actually it was really pretty weird when it happen, I have no idea that there is problem going on. When I updated my wordpress version to 2.3.3 and activated Wassup, no problem in a couple of days. So I though no problem at all. And all of a sudden this things happen. Trying to figure out what was the problem and the causes, google the 500 error and all pointing to permalink and .htaccess. So I try and read a lot about .htaccess, but no luck. Then pop-up on my mind why not deactivate all the plugin and try if it will gonna work. Yehey!!! it’s working and more faster. Then to make everything settle and down, a tedious workaround to activate plugin one by one and refresh homepage. Making sure everything is working fine. And, Jackpot it’s the wassup and wp-cache plugin, when put together created a riot.
So when you got a “500 internal server error”, better check your plugin first before messing up your permalink or .htaccess (as my webhost recommended).
