It was this morning when our boss had a little chat with us, we had a little talk about the places we love to go. So I mention some of the beautiful places in the Philippines where I was born and race. And my boss talk about Poland, (he is a Polish). He mention the “City of Krakow” that really interest me, not just because it’s the capital of Poland but because of it’s rich in History and Architecture (Gothic, Renaissance and Industrial), I really love Architecture :). And of course going to Europe is a dream for me.
He also mention that it was the oldest city in Poland. The city is known in Czech as Krakov, in French as Cracovie, in German as Krakau, in Latin as Cracovia, and in Lithuanian as Krokuva. Ukrainian and Yiddish languages refer to it as Krakiv and Kroke (how do I know that? Wikipedia ). The must to see places in Krakow are the ff.-The renaissance Royal Castle at Wawel, the gothic St Mary’s Basilica, the historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall, the former separate Jewish city of Kazimierz, and even the Nowa Huta district, absorbed by Krakow together with its socialist-realist, industrial architecture, those are all places which make a visit to Krakow extremely worthwhile. With it’s all places, I think a one week of vacation their is not enough. Good thing there is a lot of nice and cheaper hotels in Krakow.
Summer is coming, vacationing is already in the list of things to do. And Europe is on the top of the list, so why not Krakow, Glasgow, Seville and Lisbon. Not your typical European tour like Venice, Paris, Rome and London. So better start saving my vacation now and some overtime maybe or give all my sponsors a visit and maybe you can find what you’re looking for and make a purchase then.
