Usually I travel to work by bus for an hour and usually what I do if I’m not playing games on my PSP I usually watched some movies or Southpark show. And to share it to you guys how I get all those Southpark episode from YouTube and watch it on my PSP.

How to do this? I’m sure you gonna ask. But to tell you guys, not only the video from YouTube you can download but in almost all Video sharing site, and yes even RedTube. Excited now? Ok, just follow my 10 Steps Noobz Guide How-To Download and watch YouTube Video ( in this guide) in your PSP, iPod/iPhone and SmartPhone without paying big bucks for some programs promise to download the video that only support flv files so you need another program to convert it to MP4 or avi and play it in your console.

Let’s start now:

1. Install Firefox 2 browser if you still using the unsafe Internet Explorer 6/7.

2. Download and Install Firefox adds-on "Download Helper" .

3. After you installed the DownloadHelper extension, restart your firefox, and you should see a new icon in your toolbar.

4. In case you don’t see the icon in the toolbar, you can also install it easily: Go to menu View/Toolbar/Customize and drag the DownloadHelper icon to your toolbar.

5. To start downloading, use your browser to visit video sites, when DownloadHelper can do something for you, this icon is animated: if not the icon is gray

6. This is the secret and most important Since the default YouTube video extension is .flv which is not supported by PSP, iPod/iPhone and SmartPhone unless you have a flv player installed. So to get the High Quality flv if you want, and the MP4 video in YouTube.

Just add this code at the end of URL: &fmt=6 (for HQ flv) or &fmt=18 (for MP4).

Sample:

HQ flv= http://youtube.com/watch?v=rdPY2Akmius&fmt=6

Note: You can also do this to watch youTube video in high quality, but if you don’t see a HQ video this is normal since some video submitted in low quality.

7. When the icon is animated, you can see a small triangle at the right of the icon. Click on this arrow to open the download menu. You can now select directly a file of your choice to download.

8. Save it in your desktop or anywhere you can easily find it.

9. Transfer it to your PSP, iPod/iPhone and SmartPhone.

10. Watch and Enjoy!

Extra note:

By default, the downloads are queued and done one by one. That keeps the bandwith usage to a minimum and allows you to browse other page to select new downloads. The screenshots below shows the number of files in the download queue. The number disappears when there is no more download in progress.

It is also possible to download several video files from YouTube at once, without even opening the video pages. Just select a region in a YouTube page containing links and right-click to display the context menu. A new entry offers to download all video files.
