Daedalus R14 Beta Released - N64 Emulator for PSP

Daedalus R14 Beta

Daedalus R14 in much awaiting “BETA” released and announced at Homebrew Heaven.com by PSP Homebrew developer Wally (based of Strmnnrmn’s latest source code). The program is based on StrmnNrmn’s latest SVN source code and support the Media Engine for enhanced audio processing and emulation speed increases, added to that Daedalus R14 Beta also features new display icons.

This update actually doesn’t come from StrmnNrmn though, but from developer Wally of Homebrew Heaven, if you wonder about it the only reason we got is that StrmnNrmn is too busy to update his Blog. Right now, it was still too early to hope for an official release, let’s enjoy the beta version for now. Yap! The possibilities is just around the corner.

Here are the developer’s notes from Wally:

Some changes are :

  • A bit of ME support
  • A tad faster
  • A bit buggier.
  • New Icons etc

Known issues:

  • Debug menus popup - these are bypassable by pressing the SQUARE button and shouldn’t be very often.

Wally has noted that If a debug menu pops up while running a ROM image. Just press the PSP’s square button to close it.

That’s all folks, enjoy the Nintendo games in your PSP, while it’s HOT!
