Wireless and tiniest is really the new game in the gadgets world. As everything is go wireless here is another new player in the game of wireless. Eye-Fi Wireless Flash Card is a 2GB flash card with a Wi-Fi radio, this hybrid card lets you easily upload pictures directly from your camera to the web and your PC. The set-up is so easy, fool proof. You plug it into your PC and run the included software, pick from a list of photo sharing sites (like SmugMug, Flickr, Photobucket, Facebook) create an Eye-Fi account and configure security (40-128 bit WEP, WPA-PSK, or WPA2-PSK).
The only drawback is the speed, it took roughly 6 minutes to transfer a 5mb image and it don’t support Raw files, only jpeg for now, there are clearly improvement to be made. But a cheap price of $100, it wasn’t bad at all. It’s a fun toy to try on.
