I’m sure all the PSP homebrew community become so busy this weekend after the non-stop released from Dark-Alex and Team M33 of  PSP CFW 4.01 M33! and the added 1.50 kernel add-on follow up as promise yesterday first release. For now, it’s CFW updating time! Read below to make no mistakes

The 4.01 M33-2 update, comes with the following bugfixes:

* Nids resolver: Fixed scePowerGetCpuClockFrequency issue. This is the same bug that happened in 3.80 M33-1, it won’t happen again.
* Fixes recovery problems that have appeared in prior version (incorrect position of back string in language others than english, enable, and disabled strings not translated in plugins, hide pic0 pic1 couldn’t be changed, language file in flash1 wasn’t working..
* Spanish recovery translation typos fixed.

Here is the (Read Me) changelog before the updates: as of CFW v4.01 M33
Instructions: Copy UPDATE folder /PSP/GAME/ and run.
Put the 4.01 sony update as 401.PBP in same folder, or let the program download it for you using a wifi connection.

Changes:
- Bug fix: vshmenu didn’t let change camera mode due to camera_plugin using select button.
Fixed, now vsh menu will not be loaded when using the camera.

- Recovery can now be translated, See how below. Translation to spanish is autoincluded.
- Updated the M33 SDK with a new function and sample, and released the psp-packer tool to
compress prx’s and PBP’s in the ~PSP format.

- The folder of 4.01 and highre homebrew will be GAME4XX so it won’t need change on update.

Translating the recovery.
To translate the recovery create a text file in ms0:/seplugins/xx_recovery.txt
or flash1:/xx_recoery.txt (they are evaluated in that order), where xx is the language code
of your language:

es -> spanish
en -> english
fr -> french
de -> german
it -> italian
ja -> japanese
ko -> korean
nl -> netherlands
pt -> portuguese
ru -> russian
ch1 -> chinese simplified
ch2 -> chinese traditional

The file en_recovery.txt in translate folder is included for people to translate to their languages, this file is not needed for english people, as the english language is used when no language file is found.
Just change the english strings to your language ones, and put it in the path mentioned above. Be careful to check in the recovery that the lines look fine, don’t use too large text.

The spanish file es_recovery.txt will be written by the program in the memory stick.

1.50 kernel addon for fat will be released this evening or this night.

You can also upgrade to 4.01 M33-2 via CFW 4.01 M33’s Network Update function.

Last Monday I received my M3-DS Real adapter which I order in R4 Canada, so after I installed all the apps and games I needed. And I stumble upon this hack about how to play the Guitar Hero for NDS without the Guitar Grip peripheral, it was cool, right? so I give this hack a try and it works like a charm to me. Actually this is my first hack I apply to my DS. I’m not actually a fan of Guitar Hero but I find this hack quite interesting so I give this one a try and it’s cool. The only set back on this hack is the configuration of the controller, I find it hard and tedious. I’m not sure who created this hack, hopefully he will create an update on this hack. Let’s start the hack and enjoy!

How-To:

1. Download the ARM9 file here.
2. Download DSLazy.
3. Unzip and Open DSlazy folder
4. Click dzlazy.exe and then select your clean Rom (Guitar Hero)
5. Select NDS unpack, you will see a folder with the unpacked Rom
6. Replace the original arm9.bin file with the new one that you download in step 1
7. Select NDS repack.
8. Make sure your rom file is on NDS folder of your Micro SD.
9. Insert it to your M3-DS adapter
10. Insert M3-DS adapter to your Nintendo DS and play !!!!

This is actually an old tweak since the beginning of Firefox, but for some reason until FireFox3 they still don’t make this as a standard or default configuration of the browser. So if you think your newly installed Firefox3 seem a bit slower than your most hated Internet Explorer. Then let me bring back your interest on the most and still safer browser that you can use.

How  To:

1. Let’ start by opening your FireFox3 browser

2. Type “about:config” in your Firefox address bar.

In the “filter search bar” type the following settings below:

network.http.pipelining. Be sure the value field is set true, if not double-click to set true.

1. network.http.pipelining - Be sure the value field is set true, if not double-click to set true.
2. network.http.pipelining.firstrequest - Be sure the value field is set true, if not double-click to set true.
3. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests - Double-click to set value field to 32.
4. network.http.proxy.pipelining - Be sure the value field is set true, if not double-click to set true.
5. nglayout.initialpaint.delay - Set value field to 0.

iF you won’t have an network.http.pipelining.firstrequest and nglayout.initialpaint.delay. No worries you can add one. Here’s how:

1. Right-click on the preferences list, select ‘New’ then select ‘Boolean’

On the first prompt, type:
network.http.pipelining.firstrequest

On the second prompt, set it to ‘true’

2. Right-click on the preferences list, select ‘New’ then select ‘Integer’

On the first prompt, type:
nglayout.initialpaint.delay

On the second prompt, set it to ‘0′

EXTRA:

6. In IPv6-capable DNS server, an IPv4 address may be returned when an IPv6 address is requested. It is possible for Mozilla to recover from this misinformation, but a significant delay is introduced.
Type network.dns.disableIPv6 in the filter search bar and set this option to true by double clicking on it.

How does it help?

Enabling the pipelining features allows the browser to make multiple requests to the server at the same time. The “maxrequests” is the maximum number of requests it will send at once. I’ve heard that 8 is the most it will send at once, but setting it higher won’t hurt, just in case. The initialpaint.delay is the length of time (in milliseconds) after the server response before the browser begins to paint the page.-www.webmasterworld.com

When I thought my Blog was ripe enough to submit in PayPerPost I made my first big move in my Blog life and that was to submit my weblog to Payperpost for approval in their marketplace. But as newbie blogger the format and concept of my weblog make it a reason for them disapprove my weblog in their marketplace. What I mean is the structure of my Permalink which they want it to be in a chronological archive. But to change that, Google PR will penalize me for a not found URL (404 Error). SO I said to myself forget it.
But as days goes by another social network had been introduced by Izea the same people behind the success of PayPerPost. To make story short, I’m one of the thousand bloggers who received email from them to try out the new “SocialSpark .com” The Social Marketing Network by Izea. Even though I don’t make it in PPP I still give it a try since I feel important for them to send me the invitation to try SocialSpark. So I signed up and submit my blog and wait for a day to know if my blog is approve or not. But unfortunately it was declined…again and again.

So I said to myself this aren’t right, there is really something wrong in my blog that I need to correct or to improve as I believe that people in SocialSpark known what they doing. So after three months of learning and improving base on their comments, finally I made it to be approved and now I’m officially SocialSparker. Sparky is OK, Cool Eh!

If you wonder why I never give up like my experience in PPP, simple it was a blogging community, it’s a social network where I can find and meet more bloggers and at the same time I can also get a chance to socialize and added exposure of my blog to other potential advertiser. And since SocialSpark is a community the best thing is that by this way, you can make a new friendship, have a chance to interact and find potential partners to work with, and because you can vote by “Prop” or “drop” to your fellow blogger and even to advertiser. Basically, a “prop” is a positive vote, and “drop” is a negative vote, which is the new way of giving someone your vote of confidence or high rating. You have also the choice in many areas, to offer a “prop” or “drop” to other members, opportunities, blog, etc. With this system because you can easily search members by filtering their information, as number of props and drops, views and friends, which could let you to determine who is an active blogger, and who is not.

Another good thing at SocialSpark is their code of ethics, a 100% disclosure, 100% Transparency, 100% opinion which is fair for bloggers and for advertisers But the real stuff for me is the 100% Search Engine Friendly that will benefit the bloggers instead of been penalize by Google PageRank for a paid link that really hate by Google as how they see it and that will result of a zero PageRank of your weblog. As a newbie in blogging and SocialSpark I think I said enough and for newbie like me if you quite a bit intimidated to SocialSpark, no harm in trying, nothing to lose and learn from your mistakes and understand their comments and from then the success is yet to come.

This is my first attempt to customize Munny by KidRobot, it’s a D.I.Y. Toy made of Vinyl so painting and customizing it was not a hard task to do. All you need was your imagination and some spray paint. Well, as a newbie in this kind of hobby, I can say I did a good job on this one. I try to make a lot of concepts and idea first before I started and decided to design based from my childhood robot hero “Voltes V” also known as Chōdenji Machine Voltes V and created by Tadao Nagahama, a popular Japanime series during my childhood days.

To start my project, I use Krylon acrylic spray paint and with the combination of Testors paint. For lining and edging I just use a simple Pilot fine point highlighter and that’s it. I just let my artistic hand to move around and do all the tricks. I’m not sure if this is really a good way or materials for customizing this toy, I try to google around but no luck I can’t get a good idea what exactly they using to make it really cool. Though I got a good article by painting a surf board with “Sharpie” paint markers but unfortunately its not available here in Vancouver, Canada or maybe something that is hard to find. Online is not my option right now so I try to make it what is available here around my neighborhood. And yap, not bad I come it with cool design of Munny with laser sword from my Soul of Chogokin-Voltes V. Right now I’m more interested to follow it up with a new one. The design is already running around my mind so I can’t wait to get one again. So for now see you in some forum talking about Munny design, as I optimizing my hidden art talent :).
