Thrash to others, Treasure to me

xbox crystal limited edition

Thrash to others, treasure to me. This is what I believe and every summer this is what I do. During summer or even before the end of spring season a lot of people started to clean up and remove all they think is a junk. So Garage Sale or some are Moving Sale popping out like a mushroom in the neighborhood and that is what I like so every weekend I wake up early, ahhh not really so early because I’m not a morning person and I treasure my time to sleep in the weekend so let say once I woke up and have some coffee I start my garage sale hunting with my wife and son.

And this weekend is my lucky day, you know why? I found something cool and guess what I found? It’s an “Xbox Crystal Limited Edition” for only $50.00 with extra wireless controller and all the accessories included. The good thing about this is that as what the seller say that it was been use only twice because she bought it as a gift to her son who is already in 20’s and don’t like Xbox but instead like PS3 so it was quite a bit in a mint condition. The seller sale a game separate from the console for $5 but since it was a Hockey game I don’t buy it but instead I go straight to EBGames and look for some good games and I found some pretty good games though. But my target game now is the old MechAssault, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, and 007: Agent Under Fire which can help me to softmod this console and run some exploit to it so I can do more to it and do whatever I want to do for my Xbox console and not controlled by Microsoft. So far what I know is the Phoenix exploit which they say the easiest and the best exploit that been created. So for now I try to read a lot for this and how to make the most out of this console maybe like running a Linux on it will be great.
So let me suggest to you guys that Garage Sale hunting is not for grandpa and grandma only, you really don’t know what you can find their or maybe try to check the Value Village or the Salvation Army Thrift Store where some people bring their garbage for charity. You never know what garbage to them maybe a treasure to you. So maybe during this summer season I will try to blog about what treasure I will find in my quest to Gar[b]age Sale Hunting adventure.
Here’s a short Trivia about this Xbox Console:
On March 14, 2004, the Crystal Limited Edition Xbox was released in Europe to celebrate the Xbox’s European birthday. With a price tag of €199/£139, the Crystal Limited Edition came with a transparent console and two matching Crystal Controller S. It is unknown how many Crystal Limited Editions were produced, however; later bundles were released pairing a re-released Crystal Xbox with different Xbox games and Xbox Live subscriptions. The Crystal console was re-released on October 8, 2004 in a new bundle (but with only one controller) at the normal Xbox price of €149/£99. A Crystal Controller S was also available separately. During summer of 2004 a special Crystal bundle was released to Zellers and Wal-Mart stores in Canada. The bundle included a crystal S Controller, and 2 games: Fable and Crimson Skies. There was a limit of 4 consoles per Zellers store.
