The “Raiders of the Forgotten Console” -Part 2

It was 2 weeks ago when I start my treasure hunting and in my first adventure I manage to grab one of the Xbox console that’s been release 4 years ago in a limited supply here in the Land of Maple Leaf, which is known in a modern time as Canada, eh!.

After two weeks, a new adventure come to my attention and immediately I grab my car key and headed down on the street again looking for all street sign with different colors and home made signages hanging on all possible places like tree, street light post or even cars. After checking a lot of museum, reading old books and magazines, vinyl records and even old clothes for hour I still can’t find what I’m looking for. Finally after following the arrows corner to corner I finally find the golden balloons with some red and blue where the treasure lay upon under the heat of the sun flashing like it was waiting for me and telling me “here I am please save me, take me home and play me, use me and enjoy the time where we can be together, forever.

I think this is what you call the “Indiana Jones hang over”. So let back to more real life story, what I actually want to tell you guys is I found a “Nintendo 64″ console in one of the garage sale this weekend for only $20 with everything to make it run except only to a game cartridge. So I run to EBGames as usual and look for the games but unfortunately it was worth $15, just a $5 cheaper in my N64console and most of the games was sports so I think my next adventures is to find a Mario games cartridge. The adventures never end, see you in my next quest, my Sega adventures (hopefully).

Here’s a tidbits about Nintendo 64:

The Nintendo 64 (ニンテンドウ64 Nintendō Roku JÅ« Yon?, NINTENDO64), often abbreviated as N64, is Nintendo‘s third home video game console for the international market. Named for its 64-bit processor, it was released on June 23, 1996 in Japan, September 29, 1996 in North America, March 1, 1997 in Europe and Australia, September 1, 1997 in France and December 10, 1997 in Brazil. It is notable for being Nintendo’s last home console to use cartridges to store games (with Nintendo switching to a proprietary optical format for the GameCube), and for being the first modern home console to come with a controller featuring an analog stick.
